Dermal Fillers.
Restore facial contours and improve signs of aging.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is at the heart of most dermal fillers. It is a soft tissue filler that is injected into the skin at different depths to help fill in facial wrinkles, provide facial volume and a smoother appearance. Dermal fillers are temporary because they are eventually absorbed by the body. That means you get minimally invasive, clinically proven, natural-looking results to help achieve the look you want.
Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance that is present in skin and cartilage; it holds moisture and delivers volume to the skin.
We use a wide range of HA fillers designed for specific facial areas. Talk to your healthcare provider today to determine which family of HA product is right for you.

The HA filler is injected into the lips for lip augmentation, correction of perioral lines or "lipstick lines" in adults over the age of 21. Used to:
add volume to lips
define lip line
add symmetry
provide subtle lip enhancement
smooth the lines around lips
How it works.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) gel is injected into areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur to temporarily add volume to the skin, which may give the appearance of a smoother surface.

Before and After.
Treatment time.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) treatment takes between 30 – 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Will It Hurt?
The Lidocaine in the gel minimizes the discomfort of the injection by reducing sensitivity to pain.

Side Effects.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology, the most commonly reported side effects of a dermal filler include:
redness
swelling
pain
tenderness
firmness
bruising
discoloration
itching.
These side effects usually go away in about 1 to 4 weeks.
To help aid healing and reduce swelling and bruising, use Arnica topically.
More serious side effects may include:
an allergic reaction
skin discoloration
infection
lumps
severe swelling
skin necrosis or wounds if injected into a blood vessel
Most side effects will resolve with time. Your doctor may choose to treat side effects persisting over 30 days with antibiotics, steroids, or hyaluronidase (an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid).
Risks.
One of the risks with these products is unintentional injection into a blood vessel. The chances of this happening are very small, but if it does happen, the complications can be serious and may be permanent. These complications, which have been reported for facial injections, can include vision abnormalities, blindness, stroke, temporary scabs, or permanent scarring of the skin.
Contraindications.
Do not use these products if you have a history of multiple severe allergies or severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or if you are allergic to lidocaine or the Gram-positive bacterial proteins used in these products. Not approved for people younger than 21.
