What is it?

Application.

The STEMFACIAL® protocol consists of:

  1. The CYTOPEN® (micro-needling device) creating micro-injuries in the skin allowing for maximum absorption of the STEMFACIAL® Matrix Solution. The STEMFACIAL® Matrix Solution contains Mesenchymal stem cell cytokines and growth factors, hyaluronic acid and seven peptides in a liquid format. The biologics are anti-inflammatory and not allergenic.

  2. The patient continues  post-treatment care at home between treatments using 2-step STEMFACIAL® ADVANCED CYTOKINE DUO in the morning and evening.

  • Step 1 STEMFACIAL® Growth Factor Serum contains similar mesenchymal stem cell cytokines, growth factors and peptide biologics as the Matrix solution, but in a hydrating gel.

  • Step 2 STEMFACIAL® Bio Activator contains botanical actives, including cytokines and growth factors, peptides, Retinol, antioxidants, vitamins, essential oils and more.

For CONTINUED AESTHETIC IMPROVEMENT and to provide maximal benefits, ADVANCED CYTOKINE DUO can be continued indefinitely and be offered as a stand-alone product.

Frequency of Treatments.

STEMFACIAL® is a 3-treatment, 9-week program of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT)

For best results, it is recommended to finish ALL 3 treatments.

Side Effects and Recovery.

Minor bruising and inflammation, including swelling and redness, are the most common side effects. They typically appear immediately after the procedure and clear within few days.

STEMFACIAL® products contain receptors that promote the body’s own healing response instructing cells to regenerate thereby significantly reducing downtime.

Contraindications.

  • Isotretinoin (Accutane) acne treatment in the past three months

  • Dermatoses in the treatment area (e.g., psoriasis, eczema)

  • Infection in the treatment area

  • Herpes simplex at the treatment site or other skin condition

  • Hypertrophic or keloid scars

  • Radiation skin treatment within the past 12 months
